Beyond the Stethoscope
Dr. Mariolga (Mari) Mercado is a bilingual, board certified Family Medicine physician. She has been practicing Family Medicine in the Phoenix, AZ region since 2008. She graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury NY and completed residency in Family Medicine with a subspecialty in OB at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, Family Medicine Residency program.
Dr. Mercado was a Public Health Nutritionist, with a B.S in Nutrition Science from the University of Arizona prior to becoming a physician. Her passion is Women and Children’s health, as well as Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Mercado is the immediate past-president of the board of the AZ American Academy of Family Physicians and has championed preventative health for all individuals in Arizona.
Dr. Mercado lives in Gilbert with her family, and a rescued French Bulldog.
